Is something happening out there? Only signs I spotted ( very small survey mind you ) in Tory stronghold of Chingford are Labour. Studio audiences for various TV debates including last night’s BBC debate minus Theresa May but featuring her stand-in jeer Tory claims and applaud Corbyn attacks. Also a new poll in Times has the Tory lead shrinking. The right-wing Daily Mail may be panicking judging by its even more shrill attack on Labour and Corbyn.
If May can’t command a comfortable majority ( the early assumption was a landslide) then there’s new talk of Labour joining the Scottish SNP to form a progressive coalition.
Who’d have thought there’d be any discussion other than how a big a landslide for May? But she’s proven to be what one debater called her ” not the Iron Lady but the U-Turn Queen.”
